The most basic element of all SEO strategies starts with learning how to do word research.
If you use too many of them, at best, your content sounds like it was written by R2-D2. At worst, Google thinks you're keyword stuffing and penalizes your site’s ranking. Not good.
New blogs also have a lower domain authority (when you first make a website) and thus don't carry the same weight as older, more reputable websites. As a result, ranking for more competitive keywords can be challenging.
If you're a new blogger, here are the best keywords to try and rank:
Low difficulty
High volume
High click-through rate
The goal is to find three to five head keywords (one-to-three word phrases) and one to two long-tail keywords (whole phrases people are searching for). Long-tail keywords have lower traffic and competition but are equally valuable.
And how do you find them?
Twinword Ideas and Keywords Everywhere are two (currently) free tools you can use. Type in a head keyword phrase you want to rank for. The most significant difference between the two is while both are excellent keyword researchers, Ahrefs has the edge if you are looking to analyze what backlinks your competitors have. This will come in handy when you find where your competitors are getting mentioned, so you can do the same!
2. Pay attention to user intent (not search engine)
Spend the day mentioning your keywords as many times as humanly possible.
Google's algorithm is fast-paced, and today, it's about dealing with standard content and user intent - what people search for when they type a word or phrase into the search engine bar.
Thankfully, we don't need Spock's brainwashing capabilities to discover what people can really find when they search for something. Google has already detected it.
Type your keywords in the search box and look for the "People Ask" and "Search" sections. Clicking on a website and then pressing your browser's back button will sometimes reveal the "People also search" box below the site. These are all questions and concerns people are asking, and you can address in your post.
While you're at SERP, take the time to consider how your competitors responded to the user's intention.
Plan to better address readers' challenges and make your posts more useful for them.

In order to better optimize the article for SEO blog friendliness during the writing process, I made sure to include a keyword phrase in my URL slug.

I removed unnecessary words like "how" and "to" from my keywords.
All you need is a word so the reader can know what the link is like.
Some other SEO tips on choosing a smart URL are to avoid duplicate content by using only lowercase letters and slugs of less than 50 to 60 characters. The lower your URL, the better.
Yoast can check how your URL is SEO-friendly and can provide suggestions as well.
6. Be strategic with your contacts.
Given that the search engine's website crawlers see your text and search for keywords.
But, did you know that they pay particular attention to the keywords associated? For them, affiliate keywords carry more weight than non-linked words and phrases.

For longer posts this, like this, might look like a table of contents. This is a great opportunity to quickly link to your central keywords.
Internal links: Links to relevant content on your website.
